Today’s creation for a book lover event in 2018.

Sketched this after an exhausting weekend at an art festival. A case of art reflecting mood.

I’ve spent a solid fifteen hours of painting this scene – not to mention the hours designing it.
It will be the opening scene for a children’s magazine serial I’m illustrating over the next 3 years.

Between visiting schools around Tasmania on my author tour last week I found time to sketch.

‘Opposites.’ Sketchbook scribbles.

Boat trip.

A ten minute tiny treehouse sketch!

I sketched this while watching the rain and wind from my window.

Had fun yesterday teaching a select number of children watercolour techniques.
Several photos from the session.
My next children’s watercolour workshop is happening in Perth. Further details here.
My latest YouTube video inspired from meeting a young and energetic wombat at a high school in NSW.
